The Doddington Estate in Battersea was designed by architects Emberton, Tardew & Partners. It was built between 1967 and 1971 by John Laing and Son Ltd for Wandsworth London Borough Council. Laing used its 12M Jespersen building system, which included prefabricated sections and precast concrete panels, which were produced at Laing's concrete factory in Andover.
