A range of pieces were discovered during archaeological works in the northern gallery of the cloister. They included a set of 5 rounded arches sheltering busts of angels with outstretched wings, carrying books and phylacteries (boxes containing scriptural passages).

This set was part of an eave that ran along the edge of the first section of the central part of the Portico of Glory's external facade.
