[inglês][datilografado] Dear Senhor Portinari: I am sending you a check for $300.00 covering the balance due you and a little extra for which I would greatly appreciate your sending me a few more of your lithographs, by return mail if you possibly can. It may interest you to know that there will be an exhibit of my collection of art in Washington next month and I will, of course, include your pictures. I believe that there will be a great deal of publicity on the exhibit, and I trust your pictures will be given very favorable attention. At this exhibit a number of drawings and paintings will be auctioned off for the benefit of war refugees, and I should like to include a few of your lithographs in this group.
