Rochesterian Marge Klehr grew up in the New York City area. As a little girl, she took dance classes at the Seidler's Dance Studio, run by the two Seidler sisters. The class held a recital every year. Marge saved her recital costume from about 1947. That year the recital theme was a Valentine; the costume is bedecked with hearts. The museum also owns a photograph of the class in their costumes.
