County Arcade, Victoria Quarter, Leeds

A collection of shops and offices, Frank Matcham's design was created for the Leeds Estates Company Development. Built between 1898 and 1900, it features pink brick, Burmantofts terracotta and cast iron. The central dome of the site is thought to have been inspired by the 1865 Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
