Courtyard of the Infantado Palace in Guadalajara (Spain)

Jenaro Pérez Villaamil was a prominent painter of the Spanish Romantic Movement. This work was the preparatory drawing for the lithography published in the first volume of España Artística y Monumental (1842-1850), collection of views of important Spanish monuments edited in Paris in which Villaamil was art director and autor of many of drawings.
