The Magyar Iparművészet cover page for issue 2–3 of the year 1910 was decorated with surprisingly little ornamentation by its unknown designer. The design of the lettering as well as the title block provide the decorative character. The particularly long stem of the letter I extends down to the bottom of the page like a flagpole, and the lines of text are hung from this. The ribbons waving to the left of the letters I and M provide a fresh appearance and the illusion of fluttering to the composition. Near the top is a geometric crest inside a round motif, and below is the Hungarian crest in a red rectangle. The red of the crest is also repeated in the red line with dogtooth and spiral patterns running down next to the stem of the letter I. The stiffness of the stout, slightly archaic lettering arranged in the narrow block of text is diffused by the curling wavy lines.
