"Map" or display of the "ponto de cruz" stitch, in cotton, embroidered in polychrome silk, dated from 1890, probably the result of learning of this embroidery technique of the 10 year-old girl that signed it: "Maria Isabel. Vimieiro. 27-8-80". It was originally owned by Francisco lage, the first director of the Popular Art Museum.
