This headdress is described by the Sierra Lone National Museum as a crown...said to be 200 years old . It is thought to have been worn by a warrior. It consists of a cloth wrapped circular loop, worn atop the head. Four rectangular leather packages are attached to the loop, likely to be sebe/sebbeh, or amulets, to protect the wearer.
