This is the first model from a series of cube radios that Sony produced in the 1960s and 70s. The outside is moisture resistant, making it the first radio that could be used in the bathroom. This very compact transistor radio runs on batteries, so it could be easily taken from place to place. The cube itself is the speaker, and there is nothing on the outside except a large metal rotating disc for the frequency and a small volume knob. This knob also serves as an on/off switch.
