Replica of the silver-gilt cup from the Vale of York Viking Hoard (reg.no. 2009,8023.1), decorated with vine scrolls, foliate sprays and six cable-bordered roundels enclosing animal designs: stag, big cat, antelope(?), deer, lion and an equine.
