Flat rectangular palette with raised border emphasized externally by a groove. The small holes in the four corners were probably for the suspension of the vessel (as suggested in the photo). Several Cycladic palettes have preserved traces of pigment on their surface. This, in combination with the fact that palettes are frequently found in association with grinders, allows for the assumption that they were used for mixing pigments.
