Enrique or Henri Lorichon, was a French miniaturist who worked intermittently in Barcelona, at least since 1833.

Lorichon never stopped miniature painting, and the press of the time sometimes advertised as lithographer and miniaturist or sometimes as the daguerreotype portrait. It is also common to find associated with another photographer according to the city where he was. 1848 returns to settle in Barcelona, initially positioned their study in the Rambla de Santa Monica, number 8. This period corresponds this piece, dated and signed with great watermark on the bottom surface of the plate, with text "Lorichon | Bar 120".

In the picture you can see a middle-aged man wearing different rings on his left hand. The image is adjusted to what Lorichon calls "the French system" in which the funds are white and clear images without color.
