'De truc met de kist' (the trick with the chests) by Hans Tuerlings was made for de Springplank, the junior company. The ballet is situated behind a curtain with a square cut out of it, which creates the effect of a screen. The hole is rather small which makes this ballet well suited for smaller theatres, but also creates a challenge for the dancers in the limitation of their space.
