In 2014, a group of baniwa women came to Museu do Índio seeking for help to restore their ceramics tradition. This complex knowledge, extended throughout thousands of years, was about to disappear. In the Museum, they found a collection of pieces built up by their ancestors. Back to the village, they got together to restore the bonds between their techniques and their territorial and ritual knowledge.
