Demolition Notice

Notice prepared by the London County Council for pasting up in the local area, notifying residents of the impending demolition. Wilton's at Numberss 1-4 Grace's Alley are circled. After a campaign led by John Betjeman Wilton's was reprienevd, however the remaining area was demolished leaving Wilton's isolated before reconstruction work began over the following decades.
