Horizontal rectangle. Design for a chimneypiece intended to be executed in white marble with a small band in gilt bronze. Pillars at the sides, the bodies with rinceaux springing from acanthus calyxes, the capitals with two theatrical masks with alternative sugestions. An inner framing frieze is decorated with grotesque candelabra. The center of the friezes above is projecting: two eagles are in a square supporting a festoon; above, a theatrical mask. At the outsides are two ram's heads with garlands. Above mouldings. The friezes beside the capitals show rinceaux. Below the scale.
