Horizontal format design for a painted oblong ceiling. Inscribed into an oblong frame is a view into a cupola from below. It has a hexagonal opening on top, and is supported by six supports consisting of pilasters and columns. They stand at the front of a gallery and are connected by parapets. In the bays above and below the cupola the sky is shown.
