Design for the Embroidery of a Lady's Overskirt of the "Fabrique de St. Ruf"

A desnely scalloped strip, framed at the inside by a row of hands, is shown along the edge. Two different kinds of ornamentations are suggested alternatively for the scallops. A row of scallops of various heights and with floral decoration rises from the strip. Flower boughs grow from some of the intervals between scallops.
