Fabrics for clothing in Lijiang, Yunan, where the Nakhi people are inhabited, are limited to only a few options of handspun cloth, or half machine-made linen or cotton cloth due to the slow process of industrialization in this area. Made of cotton cloth, this jacket is in khaki on the outer fabric and light lake blue for the lining. In a “十”-liked shape when flattened, this jacket has no shoulder seams, and sleeves are stitched to the main body on 14.1cm and 16.1cm from the armhole respective on the left and right arms. With slits on both sides as well as front and back, this garment has side slits hemmed with black cotton strips, and exquisite frogs on the button placet.
