Jogaebang, also called jogaeteul, is a tool used to dig out shellfish inhabiting a mud flat. This tool is dragged through a mud flat by a person or a cow to rake up shellfish. It is designed to easily collect shellfish that inhabit in a mud flat and shallow sea, as well as freshwater such as a river. Ropes are tied to the left and right of the dense metal ribs. Dragging this tool is an easy way to collect shellfish.
