PEZ candies have enjoyed a long run of popularity. Over the past six decades, the sugary tablets have changed with the times, associating the sweet treaties with the current crop of popular super heroes from television, movies, comic books, and other mass media. PEZ dispensers with mass appeal include those topped by heads of Superman, Captain America, the Green Hornet, the Incredible Hulk, Spiderman, and Wonder Woman. I the late 1970s, PEZ issued super hero dispensers with soft heads made of pencil eraser-like material.
