In the early days of the 21st century, the computer world invaded the candy world. The maker of PEZ candies, known for its many dispensers that reflect pop culture, issued a series of dispensers fashioned after the emoticons found in cyberspace. Kids could emote while they ate their candies. The Funk Face dispensers issued in 2004 are variations of the well-known yellow Smiley face sporting expression and characteristics like Worried, Wink, Nerd, Smiley, Big Grin, and more.
