Set of "Espichas", a utensil used as am acessory in the process of spinning with distaff. Usually made out of wood or of polished bone, the latter prevailed in the Northwest region of Portugal and was used for the rich decoration of this type of utensil with disctint motives, such as flowers,animals, hearts, crowns, amongst others.
