Patricia Biasuzzi, and independent toy designer from Pawtucket, Rhode Island, has donated to The Strong several toys she has developed along with drawings and patterns in which her creations evolved. Biasuzzi described how a photograph of her grandmother in a long skirt inspired her design of a small cloth doll in a soft, fabric picture frame that also served as the doll's bed. The frame could hang on the wall or sit in a table while the doll itself could be removed and played with. Biasuzzi called her design Picture Perfect. Her agent showed the doll and frame to Coleco, the company that in 1983 offered the widely popular Cabbage Patch Kids. The company bought Biasuzzi's design for its CPK line, offering Cabbage Patch Kids Pin-ups in 1984. Coleco sold six themed CPK pin-ups including a bedroom, clubhouse, barnyard, garden, greenhouse, sweet shop, and toy store.
