The Lanternier porcelain factory in the French city of Limoges produced a number of bebe doll heads and character doll heads at the time of the First World War. It produced doll heads bearing the sculptor's name. For example, dolls named Cherie, Lorraine, Favorite, and Bebe have the artist Masson (or Tasson) incised on the back of the head. A doll named Caprice bears the artist Gillette's name; and a doll called Toto bears F. Mialonos's mark.
