Troll dolls were one of the big toy fads in the early 1960, following the dolls' creation in 1959 by Danish woodcutter Thomas Dam. The fad regenerated several times into the 1990. Dreamworks Animation purchased the brand in the 2010 and released the move "Trolls" in 2016, generating more than $300 million in ticket sales.
