Hasbro, Inc. Introduced Shoezies in 2001. Intended as collectibles aimed at girls, preteen girls, Shoezies came in six collections, named like She's Got Style and Girls Night Out, and each collection featured six pairs of teeny, stylish shoes. Some of the clogs, slides, pumps, Mary Janes, sneakers, and other shoes came in appropriately sized shoe boxes complete with the traditional tissue paper protecting the shoes within. Later pairs came with accessories, like water bottles or a soccer ball. Each pair of Shoezies was molded in splendid detail, with clearly differentiated left and right shoes, tiny laces, and distinctive tread patterns and textures. In addition to the collectible shoes, Hasbro offered a display case for Shoezies, and a small doll set with shoes (of course) and accessories. The Shoezie doll came in her own shoebox with storybook.
