Doll

The doll represents a Caucasian adult female, and has a wax over composition head with upswept dark hair that was inserted through a centre parting. The dark glass eyes open and shut by means of a wire through the body, and the doll has wooden limbs. She wears a long full-skirted dress of black and white checked silk with matching streamers at the waist front; a close-fitting jacket or bodice of red cloth; and a short necklace of transparent beads.
