Dongdari, Military Official’s Coat

Dongdari is a type of military uniform that worn under the Jeonbok in the late Joseon period. This reddish maroon colored Dongdari is made of Gap-sa (silk, simple gauze), and lined in navy silk tabby. The sleeves are over patched in red. The side and back center ends are decorated with knotted buttons and loops.
