Filippo Gabrielli; Francesco Giuliani1744 - 1749

Museu de São Roque

Museu de São Roque
Lisboa, Portugal

This vestment, composed of nine pieces, is particularly interesting, above all the elements in quadrangular shape, such as the door hangings where the decoration is organised emphasising the perimeter in an elegant manner, while at the same time highlights the central composition, which expands from the centre to the edges like a firework. The green, the colour of hope, is used on ordinary time.
