"The birth of the new style of “Romanesque iron”, based on the proliferation of scrolls or spirals applied mainly in bars and doors, demonstrated the universal vocation of Romanesque art and became a nexus of union between all the arts who appeared during these periods.

It is a unique art itself, very developed since the twelfth century, made for churches and chapels located around the pilgrimage routes. It was created with a double function (protect and take care of the liturgical and domestic needs). It was shaped in bars, door hinges and braziers and also in knockers, candlesticks, locks, crosses and incense burners."
