Dorsal adornment called butiê, or also mamã, solei and patoá, an ritual ornament in bead cords and cotton tassels, with pendants in beetle wings wich make a soft sound when their users dance. The butiê is used on the back, fastened to the hair. It is used during the Turê festivities, which are held in thanks to the supernatural beings.
