"My name is Margaret, a widow, and mother imprisoned at Langata Women's Prisons. I worked on this piece for one and a half months. Through Carakana my life here has taken a turn for the better as I was always worried about my son but now I send money for him to be taken care of. My health has also improved because cross stitching gives me so much peace. I will forever be grateful to Carakana."
