This object features a human figure wearing a headdress. The Chimu pottery expertise in the production of molds for the mass production of its ceramics allowed surface treatments of great aesthetic effect, such as what is seen in this pot, although from the artistic point of view it is considered inferior to the Mochica ceramics.
