Chantilly lace dress in light yellow colour on an organdie transparent with a very low strapless décolletage, a boned body and a skirt on a frilly petticoat The waistline is trimmed with a satin ribbon with a big lace. It fastens with a zip at the left side.

Antonio Cánovas del Castillo Rey, a Madrilenian designer who lives in Paris, started to work for Paquin and Piquet in 1936. In 1944, under the guidance of Elizabeth Arden, he moved to New York and lived there up to 1950 when he went back to Paris to work with Lanvin. From 1964 up to 1970 he settled down on his own, and in this time he created very elegant models like this dress, splendid in making, in a soft tone very shaded by the transparent ones, that outlines the female silhouette by wrapping it in the skirt's flare.
