E Eu Rallado/A Portugueza

Shellac record with a recording of "A Portuguesa", Portugal's national anthem, composed by Alfredo Keil and sung by the baritone Jacinto Ramos with choirs.

The recording predates the 1910 revolution who overthrew the Portuguese Monarchy, replacing it by the Portuguese Republic.

The record also includes a recording of an humorous monologue "E Eu Rallado", starring the Portuguese actor, Alfredo Silva, in a curious coexistence that could only be possible because, at the time, 'A Portuguesa' was not yet the Portuguese national anthem.
