Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for first place in a ¼ Mile swim on 3rd February, 1906. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription reads "¼ Mile Championship / 3.2.06 / Won by / F.E. BEAUREPAIRE / Time 6m. 15 4/5s.". Decorative loop attachment at top.
