Earth Observations taken by Expedition 38 crewmember

ISS038e014408 (10 Dec. 2013) --- What at first glance might appear to be a piece of modern art is actually a nadir perspective of part of the Amazon River system in South America, as photographed by one of the Expedition 38 crew members aboard the International Space Station.
The astronaut used an 800mm lens to record the image on Dec. 10, 2013.
