Earthenware sago pot with two faces

This is a sago pot from the Chambri region, the village of Aibom, which was probably sold unpainted; yet in the Maprik region, where the Abelam and Wosera live, pots to store sago in have never been used. It might be that the pot was meant to be sold to tourists or collectors.
