Eki Orleans, Spring / Summer 2019

Eki Orleans, Spring / Summer 2019 collection at Lagos Fashion Week 2018. For this collection designer Hazel Eki Osunde found inspiration in her rich Edo Nigerian heritage. Edo being a state in Nigeria, the Creative Director used the traditional Edo sword, the Eben, as the design focal point of the stunning prints in the aptly named Eben SS19 collection. As is customary with each EKI collection, the story of the print drives the meaning behind the collection. This is then married with sublime silhouettes to create a powerful fashion story.
