Released in 2007, the Fisher-Price Easy Link Internet Launch Pad allows children to learn and play on pre-school appropriate websites. Connect the Launch Pad to a computer via a USB port and plug in one of several plastic characters, including Sesame Street's Elmo, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and Thomas the Tank Engine. The Launch Pad opens a pre-determined website associated with that character - Elmo takes the child to the games section of sesamestreet.com - and children are only able to visit that single website until the character is switched or the Launch Pad is disconnected.
