Elephant carved from a block of graphite. Base is flat and is carved from the same block. Elephant has short broken tusks and a piece of tree trunk in its trunk, which has broken away from a pile of branches and leaves beside the elephant's front left foreleg. The elephant has been carved in a realistic form, but the vegetation is stylised.
