Caspary petals white, 10 m long, 8-9 mm broad; sepals h 3.5 mm long. spatjes 2 - 5 flowered mostly, but occasionally l-flowered leaves in whorls of 4 to 8. Abundant in shallow water of lake, giving cypress woods a white "floor". Vicinity of Lake Martin. Botanical Research Institute of Texas Parish: St. Martin John W. Thieret Date: 15 April 1963
