Embroidery with Leaf Design

This type of embroidery is one of the main types produced in Greece and is used for decorative apparel as well as interior textiles such as bed canopies and cushion covers. Linen is used as a base for the embroidery in colored silk thread, while the edges feature the same repeating broadleaf pattern.
