A writing bestowed upon Sunjong by Gojong when he was giving penname to his son in 1907 (Yunghee 1). Juyeon was Gojong’s penname and Jeongheon was Sunjong’s penname. He took ‘Jeong’ from the phrase in 「Junghoejigo」 of 『Seogyeong』 where it says “The heaven presented courage and wisdom to the king so that he could behave well and set a good example to the world.”

Jeongheon
According to 『Seogyeong』, “setting a good example to the world” is mentioned. If the monarch is not behaving well, people cannot behave properly, so I name you ‘Jeong’ for you to keep watching what you do.
