"Ensaimada"

A wide range of sweet treats are found in Spain all year round, and eaten for breakfast or as an afternoon snack. When it comes to products with a Protected Geographical Indication, we mustn't forget "sobao pasiego," a light, tasty sponge from the Valle del Pas in Cantabria; or "ensaimada," a traditional soft, round bun from Majorca that sometimes has a filling.
