Entrenced in History

World one is largely a forgotten war within the United States of America. The opportunity to create a monument to honor those who served the country also provides an Avenue to educate today's public about the great war. By utilizing the existing grading on the site, a reinterpretation of a World War I trench Netwerk can be cut into the ground. This creates two stages in elevation, allowing there to be a monument level within the "trench" and a park level above.
