Tomasz Barczyk’s graphics, part of the Erotina cycle, are made using the woodcut technique. In the upper part of the composition there is a silhouette of a naked woman lying, shown from above, not fitting completely within the frame, with contours marked with a white line. The rest of the composition is the background created in a characteristic manner for woodcutting: the texture of intersecting, heaped lines. One of the distinguishing features of the representation, as well as of the whole cycle, is minimalistic composition and stylising of the figures, whose concise and selective details give way to the power of the black silhouette.
