Black velvet cape, allover widely spaced red, green and gold spangles to waist; unfitted; mid-thigh length; jewel neckline; open center front; red quilted silk lining. The design of this cape was based on one manufactured by Traina-Norell (see the September issue of "Vogue," page 52), making this cape one of the first knockoffs in American fashion design.
